Laminate Countertops

PROS:
Widest range of colors, patterns, and textures. Reasonable cost. Resistant to heat, stains, and scratches. Easy to clean.

CONS:
Scratches are difficult to repair. Perception as economy-grade product limits appeal for some, although special edge treatments can create a more upscale look.

PRICE:
$15—$50 per linear foot installed.

I have Silestone (Quartz) for 3 yrs. and love it. 1. The finish is permanently sealed; 2. it has an anti-microbial surface; 3. the color choices are amazing; 4. its cheaper than granite. Investigate both for your needs. Good luck.
