Shaded Garden Bench

An arbor draws you in. It beckons you from a distance and invites you to stroll over for a closer look of what lies beyond, or--if it's combined with a bench, like this one--to sit awhile and relax.

An arbor can do much more, though. Depending on the design, it can screen unwanted views, divide the garden into separate spaces, provide shade, support vines, or simply add architectural interest and style.
