Kitchen Cabinetry: Ideas for Your Kitchen Cabinets

Sleek Cherry Cabinets

Sleek cherry cabinets line walls and provide plenty of storage for kitchen supplies while two appliance garages (not shown) between the upper and lower cabinets clear the limited counter space of bulky appliances and keep them close at hand. For an artistic focal point, consider breaking up a wall of cabinetry with frosted glass doors; it's a demure way to display china and stemware.

This has some great ideas for kitchen cabinetry and I used this article when I remodeled my kitchen. Unfortunately I was unable to build my own custom cabinets for my kitchen, but I was able to order inexpensive, ready-to-assemble kitchen cabinet kits from kitchencabinetdepot.com. The cabinets I ordered from there are of great quality and I am very pleased with the way that they look. http://kitchencabinetdepot.com

My kitchen cabinets are painted white with latex semi gloss enamel paint. I would like to put a glaze on them that shows in the crevices and changes the tone to antique white. How do I do this and does it require sanding? N Bogan
