A combination of hanging rods, open shelves, closed cabinets, and drawers offer a variety of storage solutions. Designing a closet for a child? Take a cue from this space and include baskets along with shelves and drawers. Baskets can be a handy place to store stuffed animals, balls, and other toys.

Converted a bedroom into a closet. Poles across one wall with shoe storage shelves under. Shelf across top of two walls near ceiling holds purses. Very long large glass doored entertainment center, from a thrift shop, on another wall holds jeans, T's, underwear, sox, etc. TV area holds a dresser. Works great and looks nice. Hat boxes on top. 3rd wall has large closet with mirrored doors. 4th has windows over display case and book case. Dressing table in center of room. Great for a budget.
